Surgery closures
The practice will be closed from 12pm on the following dates for staff training. Please be aware that these half day closures have been arranged by the NHS Suffolk & North East Essex Integrated Care Board and applies to all surgeries in the North East Essex area.

If you need help when we are closed
Out of hours service
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call the Out of Hours Service on telephone number 01255 674373 where your call will be automatically transferred to the out-of-hours service.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
NHS 111 service
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Did you know that we offer appointments on a Saturday?
Patients have the opportunity to see a doctor and a wide range of clinicians on a Saturday from 9am till 5pm!
Every weekend, our enhanced access service is held at a different branch location – upcoming clinics in December are:
- Saturday 7th December – Colne Medical Centre
- Saturday 14th December – Wivenhoe Medical Centre
- Saturday 21st December – Riverside Health Centre
- Saturday 28th December – Rowhedge Medical Practice
